Used as a plasticizer for epoxy resin, PVC, neoprene rubber, nitrile butadiene rubber, etc. However, the miscibility of pure epoxy soybean oil and epoxy resin is generally not good, and oligomers can be formed by ring-opening polymerization of epoxy soybean oil, or reaction with maleic anhydride, or double bond crosslinking triggered by diisopropyl peroxide, and the compatibility with epoxy resin is significantly improved.
